Purpose

This conference brought together leaders in the fields of Down syndrome clinical care, advocacy, and research, along with federal partners, including NICHD. The goal of the meeting was to formulate a strategy for establishing and/or integrating patient registries, research databases, and biobanks into Down syndrome research to further advance the science and clinical trials that will benefit individuals with Down syndrome and their families.
